•   Avoid drinking or eating anything for 8-12 hours before the test as per the nature of the test. You may drink only water.
•   Eat less fatty and fried food, and avoid alcohol 1-2 days before the test.
•   Don’t smoke 1 hour before the test.
•   Avoid any physical activity and stress before your blood test. It is recommended that you calm down and relax for 10-15 minutes and think about nothing during the withdrawal.

After your blood sample is taken, it will be placed in a bottle and labeled with your name and contact information. It will then be transported to a laboratory to be inspected under a microscope or chemically analyzed, depending on what is being evaluated. The results will be emailed to you.
